We’re coming up on the holiday season and that unfortunately also means it is scam season!

Please be aware of recent and ongoing scams and protect your information.

Recently members have reported receiving phone calls from a number that appears to be originating at Extra Credit Union, but this is a scam. The fraudsters then try to get you to reveal your eBanking login, your full card number, or other account information. Please remember that Extra Credit Union will NEVER ask for your eBanking login credentials or your full card number over the phone.

If you suspect you have received a scam call, please reach out to us at (586) 276-3000 and speak with a member of our Call Center. And remember—we offer free credit report reviews so you can see if there is any fraudulent activity on your accounts!
